I’ve been focused on biotech and healthcare stocks recently.
Why?
1. In my effort to re-diversify the portfolios, I’ve been focusing less on technology stocks, and more on biotech and healthcare.
2. United Health Group (UNH), Moderna (MRNA) and BioNTech (BNTX) have been my main focus.
3. With UNH and MRNA, I’m already slightly in the red, but I’m holding long on these stocks. But with BNTX the stock has been outperforming, and the Pzifer/BioNTech COVID vaccine is supposed to be purchased in mass quantities to be distributed to other countries, as announced by President Biden.
4. COVID-19. Stocks directly related to the erradication of this deadly infectious disease will no doubt do well this year because of the distribution of the COVID vaccine.
